To enable their business strategy there was a need to have organization structure which meets the current as well as the future requirements.
Action
Existing Organization structure was assessed from the lens of Flipcarbon’s IP Organization Structure & Design Principles. The analysis coupled with external market study highlighted the gaps in the organization design which got addressed by scripting business appropriate organization structure capturing hierarchy, job grades and associated compensation structure.
Follow up
The new structure deployed supported the strategy with the indicative competencies needed. Proper workflow and process were established for seamless transition to the new operating model. Positions lacking clarity because of overlapping and unstructured issues were resolved. Associated grading structure supported the career progression path and compensation band brought clarity around positioning of internal talents as well as supported the external hiring.
Result
The organization is able to run the operations flawlessly with defined accountability across levels/ roles as the new structure brought clarity in workflow, processes and competence to deliver the expected jobs.
